Stack Up the Goodness And Save Lives
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is teaming up again with IHOP to bring you a deliciously sweet deal that will 'stack' up the goodness. From April 8 to April 29, all successful donors will receive a certificate for a free shortstack of buttermilk pancakes at participating IHOP restaurants in the Greater Houston and Nacogdoches Areas when they donate blood.
IHOP's commitment to our community and lifesaving initiatives continues to make an impact. Our partnership with IHOP expresses our appreciation to our donors and underscores the importance of collective action in saving lives. Working together, we are reminded of the incredible power of partnerships in making a difference.
"We are thrilled to team up with IHOP again for another year," said Melissa Chiu, Community Development Coordinator at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. "Our partnership with IHOP allows us to express our gratitude to our donors in a truly delicious way. Together, we are flipping pancakes and saving lives, one bite and one donation at a time," said Chiu.
Donors can redeem their free buttermilk shortstack certificate at participating IHOP restaurants in the Greater Houston and Nacogdoches Areas. But hurry, this promotion ends on April 29. And do not let those pancakes go to waste - the certificate expires on May 31, 2024.
“We are very proud to have partnered with the folks at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for the last several years to serve the great people of Houston and Nacogdoches”, said Mark Williams, Senior Regional Marketing Manager at IHOP. “We look forward to many more joint efforts in the future”, he added.
Donating blood is a simple yet impactful act that can be done once every 56 days. A typical whole blood donation takes approximately an hour and can save many lives. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center urges our community to donate regularly in 2024, making giving blood a part of their routine and a meaningful way to give back. With our community's help, we need 1,000 daily donations to serve our area hospitals best.
