Director of People & Culture
Asia Wellington serves as the Director of People & Culture at Gulf Coast Blood, where she leads initiatives to strengthen workforce capabilities, enhance employee engagement, and align people practices with the mission of saving lives.
She brings a wealth of experience in building people-first cultures. Most recently, Asia served as Chief People Officer at the National Society for Leadership and Success (NSLS), where she advanced talent development, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement strategies. Under her leadership, NSLS earned Great Place to Work certification, recognizing its caring and equitable workplace culture.
Prior to NSLS, Asia was Director of Organization & Talent Development at Texas Health, a large nonprofit health system in Dallas-Fort Worth. There, she leveraged her expertise in human resources and hospital social work to support both employees and patient care operations.
Originally from London, Asia offers a global perspective on human resources, leadership development, and organizational culture. She holds a B.Sc. in Social Work from the University of Greenwich (London), a Master of Social Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an M.Sc. in Human Resource Development from the University of Houston.
