Gulf Coast Blood Opens Advanced Therapies Facility in Houston's Texas Medical Center

Gulf Coast Blood officially opened its new Advanced Therapies facility in Houston’s Texas Medical Center on Friday, expanding its specialized cellular collection capabilities to support the development and delivery of advanced medical treatments.

The 4,522-square-foot facility expands Gulf Coast Blood’s ability to support cellular therapies, including CAR-T, and marrow donor collections for healthcare organizations, researchers and industry partners working to advance cell and gene therapies.

The grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours and remarks from Gulf Coast Blood leadership and special guests.
